Domantas Sabonis's stats mirror his dad stat's when he was in his prime. His dad was a better player in his prime, in my opinion. Certainly a better defender than his son. I think Domantas patterned his game after his dad, if I had to guess. Just imagine how scary good Arvydas would have been in the NBA if he had proper time off, not burned out, proper recovery and rehab had he came to the NBA immediately. I'm referencing Russia's burning out their top basketball players in the 1980's. He was one of them.
