D'Lo is a perfect fit for the Lakers. This is the type of guard they've needed. Imagine if they'd had gotten him earlier in the season.
13 күн бұрынn
@Chucho no hatred at all. pure facts. no matter how many stars he played with he's only made it to the finals once? what do you have to say about that? what do you have to say about him leading the league in turnovers, leading the league in worst 3 point percentage before and how teams literally sag off of him? you bring up one finals appearance over ten years ago and thats all you got. mans is literally coming off the bench for one team and the next team doesn't play him late game. pipe down kiddo. none of this is hatred at all, it's pure facts.

@n yup and you didn’t. Read a few stat boxes about russ in the finals kid you got a lot of growing up to do. Hating on russ won’t get you anywhere

@Chucho yea most definitely buddy. you got it. thumbs up. pats head.

It’s not just him, when the camera pans to the bench, you could see it when AD and Bron was out in they eyes how bad they want to play. They been winning since before all star and niggas are hungry right now. We had 23 game, originally we all thought they’d have to win at the least 15, but it’s looking like they’ll win 19-20 and end up a 5th seed.

All the players did that the lakers traded away when Bron got there. They woulda never became who they are now staying back then.
13 күн бұрынEmperor Tee +1
I hate to say it but I think them sending him away helped. Obviously it’s not what you want for a player, but he definitely matured over the years, I’m glad he’s back on the team that drafted him.

Rob Pelinka did an amazing job. The chemistry formed so quickly and now we are only 1 game under .500. Insane.
13 күн бұрынMichael Diaz
@JDH92 bron ain’t the gm lmao y’all say that to hate on the man
11 күн бұрынJDH92
You mean Lebron did a great job right lol? As a non lakers or Lebron fan, I like sitting back and watching this weird stuff. When you guys got Westbrook and it didn’t go well, all the haters were saying Pelinka was a yes man, calling bron the GM, and saying it was his fault. All I know is they didn’t get the coach he wanted, weren’t listening about getting rid of the picks/Russ when it was suggested, but now that a good move was made… all the credit is going to Pelinka. So as a lakers fan I’m asking, is he a Yea Man who answers to Lebron or is he the GM making the choices?
11 күн бұрынJDH92
@Chick Hearn4ever I love that lebron and Klutch get most of the blame for bringing Westbrook in but then Pelinka gets most of the credit for making a great trade to get rid of him lol. Lebron and others pushed for them to trade Russ and he listened, just like him and Jean Bean listened to Lebron and others to bring him there to begin with. Both sides are at fault for Westbrook being brought there and both sides are the reason he’s no longer there.
11 күн бұрынChick Hearn4ever +1
Actually the only really bad decision Pelinka made was to listen to klutch sports about Westbrook. Ignore the lebronze news and buy the contrarian play

DLo's straight up mature and professional. Must be a great team mate too.

D'Lo is a perfect fit for the Lakers as the PG. like he actually gets it! and knows what he needs to do. I have seen so many people say if Kyrie is available to try to get him next season. as much as I love Kyrie, I think D'Lo is the perfect fit for this team. his energy. his thought process, it is great for the overall team going forward. Lebron, AD, D'Lo, is gonna be a monster Big 3 the more they play. they just Gotta stay healthy.

How I wish we got this team before this season started and they all had training camp together... but this is turning out better than everyone expected so hopefully Lakers can get in the playoff spot and make some noise. Next year is gonna be fun if they keep most of these guys

He nailed it down ! Its just not on two players, the guards have to continue to make other teams respect them . Keep it simple and make some shots ... Great job team
13 күн бұрынL3ftie
@Daniel Jenkins they were paying extra attention to AD, he just wasn’t really as much of an option in this game. The threes in transition from D’Lo kept them playing downhill and he was in the zone.
11 күн бұрынDaniel Jenkins +2
Under no circumstances should Ad have 7 shot attempts. What he calls selfishness, I call passiveness and bad guard play.

When we traded him I thought it was the right move and still do because it got us out of the Mozgov contract and open up cap space. So I still think that was the right trade. He went on to ball for the Nets. Biggest mistake of the Nets was trading him to get Kyrie and KD. They had something going on there. At the same time I am glad they did because now we've got a much better version of Dlo back.
13 күн бұрынGoat Davis +13
D’Lo has grown so much over the years. Wish my Nets would’ve never broken up our squad when he was driving the ship.

This trade is giving me the same vibes from when we traded Kwame for Pau, except we sort of got more by trading guards that were of no use for huge role players and a star in D-Lo. Energy for the Lakers have been so different. Everyone’s having fun watching again.

Getting Cavs 2018 vibes. They may not win it all but this is the turnaround they needed. Obviously just like that Cavs team once Bron and AD playing people roles will change so some guys may not give you that same production. Or they may cool off. Like Clarkson and Nance ended up doing later in that 2018 playoff run. But D'Lo? .....that man ain't playing lol.
